Introduction

Thank you for using Crew Time Tracker (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

Crew Time Tracker is published by Capitol IT Solutions ("we," "us," "our").

Summary

We do not collect, transmit, or have access to your personal information.
All rowing data you enter (erg sessions, regatta races, notes, settings) is stored locally on your device.
On Apple devices, your data may be synced between your own devices through Apple's iCloud service, using your personal iCloud account. We never see this data.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store payment information.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store on our servers, transmit to ourselves, or share any personal information about you, including:

Name, email address, phone number, or other contact details
Device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or hardware specifications
Location data or GPS coordinates
Usage analytics, behavioral tracking, or crash telemetry
Cookies or web tracking technologies
Financial or payment information
Health, fitness, or biometric data
Photos, contacts, calendar entries, or other content stored on your device

Data You Enter Into the App

The App stores the data you record locally on your device, including:

Erg session details (date, distance, time, split, stroke rate, notes)
Regatta race details (date, race name, boat type, distance, time, placement, stroke rate, environmental conditions, notes)
App preferences (temperature unit, premium entitlement status)

This data resides in the App's private storage on your device. We do not have access to it.

iCloud Sync (Apple Devices)

Crew Time Tracker uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your erg sessions, regatta races, and app preferences between your own Apple devices through your personal iCloud account.

Your data is stored in your private iCloud database. Only you, signed in with your Apple ID, can access it.
We do not operate, access, or control iCloud servers, and we cannot read your iCloud-stored data.
iCloud sync is provided by Apple and is governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Apple's Privacy Policy: apple.com/legal/privacy.
If you sign out of iCloud, disable iCloud Drive for Crew Time Tracker, or use a device that is not signed in to iCloud, sync will not occur and your data will remain only on the local device.

Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Crew Time Tracker offers an auto-renewing Premium subscription (monthly or yearly), with promotional offer codes optionally available.

All payment processing, subscription management, free-trial enrollment, renewal, cancellation, and offer-code redemption is handled by Apple through the App Store.
We do not receive, store, or process payment information, billing addresses, or Apple ID credentials.
The App uses Apple's StoreKit framework to confirm whether your subscription is currently active. This entitlement check happens on your device and through Apple.
App Store transactions are governed by Apple's App Store and Media Services Terms: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, or data-broker services. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Meta SDKs, AppsFlyer, Adjust, or similar platforms.

The only third-party service involved in App functionality is Apple itself, through iCloud (sync) and the App Store (subscriptions), as described above.

Note that Apple's operating system may independently collect diagnostic and usage information at the OS level, governed by Apple's privacy practices and your device-level privacy settings.

Children's Privacy

Crew Time Tracker is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Because we do not collect personal information from any user, no special collection or handling occurs for children.

Your Privacy Rights

Because we do not collect any personal information about you, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete. Data you enter remains on your device and, if enabled, in your private iCloud account. You can remove it at any time by deleting entries within the App or by removing the App from your device. To remove data from iCloud, you can delete the App's data from your iCloud account through your device's Settings.

We aim to comply with applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), through the practice of not collecting personal information.

Security

Because we do not collect or store user data on our own servers, there is no risk of your information being compromised through us. Data stored locally on your device is protected by the security features of your device's operating system. Data synced via iCloud is protected by Apple's security mechanisms; we recommend keeping your Apple ID secured with a strong password and two-factor authentication.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" and "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We will not change this policy in a way that results in the collection of personal data without providing clear notice and, where required by law, obtaining your consent.
